The Ultimate Showdown: Dragon Dust vs. Bing Yi
Hissing sounds filled the air.
In the blink of an eye, Dragon Dust unleashed dozens of slashes. One crescent moon blade had just flown out when another followed closely behind. The overlapping blade shadows rained down upon Bing Yi in a relentless assault.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The giant star titan raised its right arm like a shield. The Eight-Star Divine Diagram emerged, standing firm against Dragon Dust’s relentless strikes.
The crescent blades continuously shattered, causing the star titan to tremble and stagger backward. The deafening shockwaves ripped through the air, threatening to tear apart the very minds of those who heard them.
The Nine-Star lineage experts frantically retreated, but every step they took backward was met by the titan’s monstrous footfall.
Dragon Dust’s terrifying power poured instinctively through the star titan, each stomp causing massive sections of the void to collapse. Forget being directly crushed—just the residual shockwaves alone were enough to reduce anyone to dust.
They had barely run a few steps when the star titan caught up, trampling them all into nothing but misty blood. Not a single one survived.
These so-called elites of the Nine-Star lineage, once believing themselves to have limitless futures, never imagined they would meet such an unceremonious and tragic end.
BOOM!
A final, devastating slash struck the titan’s arm. The blade shattered, and the star titan ceased its retreat.
At this moment, the titan’s body had become semi-transparent. Through its forehead, one could see Bing Yi’s raised arm—mirroring the titan’s defensive posture.
She had fused completely with the star titan. Every movement it made was a direct reflection of hers.
Now, the starlight in her eyes dimmed, her aura waned, and even her breath became labored.
Dragon Dust’s storm-like onslaught had drained more than half of her Imperial Flame energy and vital ocular power in an instant.
“Damn it!”
Bing Yi’s face darkened, her teeth clenched in frustration. Dragon Dust’s unorthodox, “scoundrel-style” combat had forced her into massive energy expenditure, preventing her from using many of her divine abilities.
Unable to fully focus his power, Dragon Dust had instead chosen this crude, unrelenting attack style to unleash his chaotic energy in the most effective way possible.
One attacking, the other defending—both had consumed vast amounts of energy. But in truth, Bing Yi had suffered the greater loss.
Dragon Dust, however, was not unscathed. His entire body was covered in blood, his skin riddled with countless fine cracks, fresh blood continuously oozing from the wounds.
The power of the stars was too wild and violent. Though Dragon Dust had found a clever way to maximize its use, the toll on his body was immense.
He had reached his physical limit. His body simply could not contain any more power. As expected, that crucial step in mastering the Starfire Emperor Flame could not be skipped.
Yet, despite it all, Dragon Dust remained calm. With the Dragonbone Evil Moon resting on his shoulder, he gazed at Bing Yi with an arrogant, indifferent look—as if a deity showing pity to an ant.
“So what if it’s like this?” Bing Yi snarled, her expression twisted with rage. “Even with less than forty percent of my core power left, I can still kill you, you pathetic worm!”
Her fury soared to the heavens. What should have been a simple game of cat and mouse—where she effortlessly toyed with Dragon Dust—had turned into this desperate struggle.
The Nine-Star lineage’s warriors were all dead. Except for the one who had escaped to report the situation, every single one of her trusted subordinates—her future pillars of power—had been crushed beneath her own titan’s feet.
Her hatred surged. Without these loyal followers, how could she possibly compete with her future rivals?
Blaming everything on Dragon Dust, Bing Yi gritted her teeth and spat venomously:
“Dragon Dust, you wretched scum…!”
Her right hand glowed. In an instant, the star titan vanished—sucked back into her arm.
Not just the titan. The celestial phenomenon behind her, the Eight-Star God Rings, and even the divine diagram in her eyes—all of it disappeared.
She had gathered all her power into that one arm. At this moment, regret filled her heart. If only she had never underestimated Dragon Dust. If only she had unleashed her strongest killing move from the start, she would never have suffered such a humiliating loss.
“To die under this attack… consider it an honor! Star Law—Annihilation!”
With a furious roar, Bing Yi stepped forward, crossing the void in an instant. Without any unnecessary flourish, she threw a devastating punch.
The moment her fist shot forth, all color drained from the world. All sounds vanished from existence. Even space-time itself seemed to freeze.
A supreme, domineering law overturned reality itself.
“Been waiting for this!”
Dragon Dust took a deep breath. The Dragonbone Evil Moon in his hands disintegrated, transforming into countless blood-red petals. The petals resonated with the stars above.
HUMMMM!
The blood-colored petals trembled, absorbing the stellar radiance. In the blink of an eye, the stars themselves vanished—drawn into the petals.
“Evil Moon, it’s all on you now.” Dragon Dust’s voice was steady.
He had finally realized the vast gap between himself and Bing Yi. He could easily slaughter someone like Xiao Li, a powerhouse who had condensed his life sigil and wielded the power of laws.
But against someone of the same realm as Bing Yi, her power was leagues above. A hundred thousand Xiao Li’s wouldn’t be able to compare.
Perhaps this was the terrifying reality of a true, direct Nine-Star inheritor. Though unwilling to accept it, Dragon Dust had to acknowledge the truth—there was a gap.
HUMMMM!
Countless petals, infused with the power of the stars, merged into a celestial shield.
BOOM!
Bing Yi’s fist crashed against this ultimate defense, forged from both Dragon Dust and Evil Moon’s combined strength. A thunderous explosion erupted, sending Bing Yi tumbling through the sky, blood spraying in all directions.
“Hahaha! That idiot fell for it! This was our real ultimate move!” Evil Moon’s laughter rang out with unrestrained delight.
Originally, Evil Moon wanted to fight Bing Yi head-on in a brutal showdown. But Dragon Dust refused. Instead, he forced her into a drawn-out battle, making her feel pressured enough to unleash her strongest attack in desperation.
Dragon Dust had exhausted himself, but Evil Moon still had seventy percent of its power intact. That was intentional—saved specifically for this moment.
Bing Yi’s absolute killing strike had clashed against Evil Moon’s supreme defense—and she had lost.
WHOOSH!
Dragon Dust’s figure blurred as he shot toward Bing Yi. Two fingers extended, aiming straight for her eyes, intent on gouging them out.
Even in her chaotic state, Bing Yi’s combat instincts remained razor-sharp. Her right hand snapped up, reaching for his fingers.
But she had no idea—it was a feint.
Dragon Dust’s move changed in an instant. His five fingers hooked into a claw.
PAH!
His hand clamped tightly around her wrist. The moment he grasped her, Bing Yi’s mouth opened—and a starlight arrow shot forth.
She was fast. But Dragon Dust was faster.
SMACK!
A resounding slap cracked across her face, sending her star arrow off-course, grazing Dragon Dust’s cheek instead.
“Evil Moon!”
With a sharp tug, Dragon Dust flung Bing Yi into the sky. His voice rang out like thunder.
SLASH!
The blood-red blade cut through the heavens.
A scream of agony echoed through the void.
Bing Yi’s star-forged arm had been severed at the shoulder.
Final Thoughts
Bing Yi, once an unstoppable force, has been utterly humiliated. But is this truly the end, or is there still more to come? Dragon Dust’s battle has only just begun…
